KidsX Opportunities 

For All iCAN Youth Members -

If you are interested in providing feedback to cool digital health companies from now until February 18, 2021, please look at the following descriptions to see if you qualify for any of the UX tests

  • Embodied: A digital robot as an interactive emotional companion. Feedback needed about the journey before, during, and after a procedure.

    • Kid who speaks English, is 5-10 y/o, and has an upcoming hospital visit.

    • Schedule here.

    • Participants MUST have parental consent to participate

    • Sessions will NOT be recorded

  • Kintsugi: Artificial intelligence-based processing of voice diaries and personalized recommendation of mental health exercises, matching with other community members. Feedback needed about how mental health and voice-journaling apps can be used.

    • Kid who is at least 14 y/o, are interested in mental wellness, and owns IOS device.

    • Participants MUST have parental consent to participate

    • Sessions will NOT be recorded

  • Rose Health: Remote Patient Monitoring solution that seamlessly helps health care providers stay connected with their patients and monitor their mental health on a regular basis. Feedback needed about navigating the app, engagement, and perceived value during the treatment & monitoring process. 

    • Kid who is 13-19 y/o and has anxiety or depression.

    • Schedule here.

    • Participants MUST have parental consent to participate

    • Sessions will NOT be recorded

  • Xploro: A software application that uses augment reality, gameplay and AI to provide health information especially preparation information before a surgery. Feedback needed about the treatment pathway and environment or what they need to know if loved ones or themselves need to receive hospital treatment.

    • Kid who speaks English or Spanish and is 8-14 y/o, ideally receiving treatment

    • Kid who speaks English or Spanish, is 8-14 y/o, and never been to the hospital
